Counterparty checks and EDI inside Bitrix24 business processes
Client:
Business center network, NDA
Category: Integrations
Stack: PHP, Bitrix24 D7 (boxed), Adata API, Kazakhstan EDI service API, business-process activities, webhooks
Timeline: rolled out in stages
Problem
A business center network in Almaty signs lease agreements with dozens of companies: tenant reliability was checked by hand on third-party services, and contracts lived separately from the CRM and approvals.
Constraints
The counterparty-check service returns its report asynchronously rather than immediately; the contract lifecycle had to fit into the boxed portal's stock business processes, not a separate interface.
What I did
- Adata integration via an asynchronous "start check → token → poll for readiness" scheme with no page hang
- A company report in the portal: 21 sections per legal entity — taxes, court cases, risk factors, reliability, affiliations, public procurement, sanctions and more
- Bulk checks of a counterparty list and a check history, so the same thing is not requested again
- An EDI module: 24 business-process activities for the contract lifecycle — creating, signing, archiving, revoking incoming and outgoing documents
- Intake of the EDI service's status webhook — the document status updates in the portal with no manual reconciliation
Architecture
Card / business process
→ Adata client (start → token → poll)
→ Sectioned report
→ EDI activities
→ Status webhook
Result
Tenant checks and contract flow are gathered inside the portal: the counterparty report is built from the portal, and EDI steps are configured in business processes from ready-made activities.
What can be reused
Client for an asynchronous "start → token → poll" API
A set of business-process activities for an external EDI service
